 Ikebana International's
"Secret Garden" Exhibition At Paragon

On 2nd April, Ikebana International Singapore held its annual exhibition at Paragon. The exhibition was dedicated to the late, His Excellency Lee Kuan Yew for his unwavering contributions to Singapore.  In addition, in accordance to Ikebana International’s humanitarian practice, proceeds would go to NUHS Funds Ltd for the aid of children suffering from cancer.

HE Ambassador Tekeuchi Haruhisa graced the Opening Ceremony event with the Director of Japan Creative Centre Ms Ito Misako. The speech of HE Ambassador Takeuchi during the event touched on his condolences to the family of HE Lee Kuan Yew to sincerely appreciating the efforts of Ikebana International in Singapore.

The event was beautifully designed in line with the theme – Secret Garden. 38 Chapter members displayed amazing floral masterpieces, created with pure originality and creativity. With positive compliments from HE Ambassador Takeuchi, Director Ms Ito Misako and many distinguished guests, the non-profit cultural organization truly outdone themselves this year. With Ikebana International Singapore, the art of Japanese floral arrangement may only blossom into the hearts of all Singaporeans.
